1. While entering the library, readers should leave their personal belongings, near the counter reserved for this purpose. However, they can carry loose papers and writing materials.
2. Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited.
3. Library staff shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings of the library users

For Internal Members: [ TOP ]

1. Staff and Students of AIISH are given borrower's card to borrow the books.
2. No books will be issued except when present physically.
3. Books shall be issued to borrowers for over night.
4. Books may be renewed if the same are not in demand or not reserved by the other readers.
5. Publications borrowed may be recalled at any time, when demand for the same by other readers.
6. Borrowers shall be held responsible for any loss/damage to the book while in his/her possession.
7. Fine per day will be charged as per the rules for books not returned in time.
8. In the event of loss of library card the barrower's should bring to the notice of the Librarian.
9. User shall be liable to replace or repay the double the cost of book in the event of loss or any damage of the book.
10. Lending facility for reference books, journals, and rare collections, are not entertained.
11. In-house publications can be referred only at the designated place in the Library. Photocopying or scanning of the same is not permissible.
12. On request, photocopy(ies) of the document(s) available in the library can be taken subject to copyright restrictions.
13. Internet browsing may be made accessible only for AIISH staff and students.

For External Members: [ TOP ]

1. Borrowing Facility: Not available.
2. External Members can access the library from Monday to Friday (9.00 AM to 7.00 PM).
3. Books / Reference Books / Journals will not be issued, however photocopies will be arranged for the requested chapters / articles from books / Journals as per the Copyright Guidelines.
4. Annual members need to carry their Identity cards whenever they visit.
5. External member/s can use Library facilities on the approval of Director, on payment as mentioned below.
   One day -  ` 25.00
   One month -  ` 100.00
   Annual membership (1st July to 30th June) - `. 500.00 (Students)
   ` 1000.00 (Faculty)
6. Admission may be refused to anyone who violates the Library Rules and Regulations.
